AutoDroop

Privacy policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

AutoDroop is a tool that sellers sign in to in order to manage their eBay listings and fulfil their eBay orders by buying the items from Amazon. This page explains what AutoDroop stores, why, and how to have it deleted. Questions or requests: g.ahmad38100@gmail.com.

What we store

  • Your account: name, e-mail address and a password hash (the password itself is never stored), your workspace and its members, and display preferences such as the light/dark theme.
  • Connected eBay accounts: the eBay user name and the access and refresh tokens eBay issues when you connect an account. The tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and are used only to call eBay on your behalf: listings, offers, orders, messages and account information. Disconnecting an eBay account deletes its tokens.
  • Orders and buyers: for each eBay order, the items, prices and the buyer's name, shipping address, phone number and messages, as provided by eBay. They are used only to fulfil and track that order (placing the supplier order, delivery address, tracking, customer messages).
  • Products and listings: product data and images you import from supplier pages (for example Amazon), your listing drafts, prices and inventory.
  • Supplier buyer accounts (optional): if you add Amazon buyer accounts or proxies for automatic ordering, their login details are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM), and the browser session of each account is kept on our server so it stays signed in.
  • Chrome extension (optional): the AutoDroop Assistant extension reads the Amazon pages you import from or that it opens to prepare an order. For an order it stops before payment, never reads or types payment details, and may save a description of the checkout page's structure (no typed values, no payment sections) to help diagnose problems.
  • Technical data: a sign-in cookie (valid for 14 days) and server logs needed to run and secure the service. We use no advertising or analytics trackers.

How we use it

Only to provide the service to the seller who uses it: listing products, syncing and fulfilling eBay orders, and keeping records for the seller's own accounts. We do not sell, rent or share personal data for marketing. Buyer details are not used for anything other than the order they belong to.

If optional AI text suggestions are switched on, the product's title, brand, description and specifications (no buyer or account data) are sent to Anthropic to propose listing text.

Where it is kept

The application runs on a virtual server rented from Contabo. The database is hosted by Neon in the EU (Frankfurt). A nightly database backup is kept on the server for 14 days. Connections to AutoDroop use HTTPS.

How long we keep it

Data is kept while the seller uses AutoDroop, or until deletion is requested. When eBay tells us that an eBay user has closed their account or asked for their data to be deleted (eBay Marketplace Account Deletion), we automatically remove that person's name, e-mail address, phone number, street address and messages from the orders, customers and order copies we hold; if they are one of our connected sellers, their eBay tokens are deleted. Order totals, items and the country are kept, without personal data, for the seller's accounts.

Your rights and deletion requests

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by e-mailing g.ahmad38100@gmail.com. Sellers can also disconnect an eBay account at any time under Settings → eBay, which deletes its tokens. Deleted data disappears from the backups as they expire (within 14 days).
